The race for the 45th President of the United States has begun, and we have seen delegates from both parties breathe fire at the other delegates, using smear campaigns to explain why they believe they are the best candidate for the job. Citizens of the country are used to negative advertising for the most prestigious position in our country; however, this year, we have a candidate who is acting childish, hitting below the belt at everyone who comes in his way. And somehow, surprisingly, he remains ahead in the polls of the Republican Party (at least he was at the time I am writing this article.)
All of you know to whom I am referring, but I’m not saying his name. (Remember Beetlejuice?)
I am not going to attack his political views, because like every American, he is entitled to his own opinion. However, allow me to say this: HE IS A BULLY!
There are three words which he loves to use and repeatedly come up in every single speech:
1) Great
2) Fantastic
3) Loser
Any person or company who is on his side is “great” and they do a “fantastic” job. He sends respectful praises out to the people who support him, as they seem to walk on water. If you aren’t in his corner, then you’re a “loser.” He’ll spew out hatred across twitter if you throw just one piece of negativity at his feet. Do we see other candidates do that? I’m sorry (INSERT NAME); you can dish it out, but you cannot take it. If you’re going to talk the talk, then you need to walk the walk. Put on your big boy’s pants and do what other people do – Forget about it. When your ego feels the need to one-up someone, no matter who the person is, then you’re showing America your true colors — GREEN, not red, white and blue.
Comedians made jokes about him all the time. (Remember Seth Meyers at the 2011 White House Correspondent’s dinner?) Is he so offended by a silly joke that he turns them into his bitter enemies? Comedians respond best to his retort – nothing! Anyone who is in the public eye is fodder for anyone. I would understand his outrage if someone made fun of his children or even attacked his pretty wife. Everyone with a little bit of fame recognizes that it goes with the territory. Nobody is going to give him a free pass from everything. He has to take the bad with the good.
Should the American people be afraid that if Vladimir Putin says a bad thing about him, he will retaliate by pushing the red button? A bully would do something without thinking about the consequences, and we all know that pushing the red button would drive the country into a new World War.
Bullies never win! He may be a success as a bully to your employees in your empire, but America will not become great again with a bully running the country. More harm will be done than good. More countries will not want to remain our ally. Our enemies in other countries will go after us harder and stronger, because they aren’t afraid. If he cannot give himself a complete overhaul to becoming a more level-headed guy, then he should walk away from trying to become the next President of the United States. If this country is in as bad a shape as he says, imagine what it would be like four years from now.
