You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be at every moment. It’s no accident you’re reading this column and learning about being positively healthy.  Your life is going to change today.  You’ve already made the choice. 

You’re mind is constantly creating your reality. With every thought you think and every choice you make, you manifest your life into existence.

How many thoughts do you think you have in one day?  Some experts estimate the human brain can have up to 60,000 thoughts per day.  That’s 2,500 thoughts per hour; 42 thoughts per minute!

More important than the quantity of thoughts is the Source of the thoughts you have on a daily basis. The source of your thoughts is manifesting the life you’re living.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson put it:  “Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny.“

Each thought sends a message of intention to the universe.  Wow, that’s 60,000 messages a day you are sending to the Universe!  What are you asking the Universe for?

Take a good look at your life – you tell me!

Accountability… That’s right.  You’re responsible for your life; not your parents, not your boss, not your spouse, not your children…. YOU!  There are no accidents.

Let’s try something. Take a cleansing breath in and exhale, then breathe regularly and observe the thoughts running through your mind for about thirty seconds.  It helps if you do this with your eyes closed.

Congratulations.  You have just observed the constant mind chatter that keeps you running in circles and getting  you nowhere in your life.

Every thought you have comes from one of two emotions that are diametrically opposed; Love and fear.  Every thought created from love will manifest happiness.  Every thought that stems from fear will manifest unhappiness.

Your mind, like your body, must be trained if you want results.  To keep your body healthy, you go to an exercise class, for a walk, take vitamins, eat right and attend to your personal hygiene.  Your body is like a computer.  When you download a virus, it destroys your computer, right?  That’s exactly what happens every time you allow your mind to create from a place of fear.  You download a fear virus into your hard drive, damaging your mind and your body.

Observing your thoughts requires training and vigilance.  But it’s worth it.

You might not have control over everything that happens to you, but you DO have control over how you choose to THINK about those occurrences.

The universe responds to your thoughts as requests, thus creating your life.  Yes, it is that simple… But it’s not always easy!

To get started, create a healthy environment for your mind.  Just like going to the gym for a workout, create surroundings for your mind that are conducive to positive thinking.
Turn off negative television shows!  Play uplifting and inspirational music. Read books or listen to audio tapes on positive motivation and manifesting happiness.  Limit your exposure to the vampire archetypes in your world; you’re not helping them and they are certainly not helping you.

Enlist a friend to help you “think good thoughts.” When negative thoughts take hold, it’s easy to fall back.  Find a friend who will “call you out on it” and help you get back on track.

Being positively healthy is a workout for your mind – devote yourself to it. Your mind has the creative power to change your entire life.  Once you take responsibility for your thoughts, the entire world is at your command. It’s your choice.

Keep up Now with the stream of higher consciousness and stay connected to the Source.
